A Post Without a Title

Hello my avid blog readers. Things are pretty much the same in my life. Seminary, School, Swim, and Church. However, there are two things I would like to tell you about.

As a lot of you know, the Bakersfield triathlon is coming up in May. So, my dad helped me get used to my bike shoes yesterday. The bike shoes clip into the pedal to allow easier pedaling. This makes it so you have to take the shoes out of the pedal to stop. This is what I practiced yesterday. We went for a while with me only falling once, but still not being able to stop correctly. This is about when I fell for the second time. To relive some stress, I just laid on the ground while my kind loving father stood laughing at me. As he came over to help me up, he fell for the second time in his life. This has come to be one of the funniest memories I have. Me and my dad laying in the middle of the street just laughing our heads off.

Today, Porter had a BYC meeting and my mom was cleaning up her nursrey. All the kids my age from our ward had long gone home. This is when I decided to go visit my friends from seminary in the Olive Knolls ward. They were just starting their sunday school lesson. Sister Simpson taught the class. We learned about Jacob in the Book of Mormon and how he was chosen to write about the spirtual doings of his people. I thought Jacob would be a pretty cool guy. It was a great class. So, Sister Simpson challenged us to write in our journals. And it turns out she's seen grandma and grandpa's blog. She thought that the family blogging thing was pretty cool. So to fufill the challenge of writing in my journal, which I consider to be my blog, I wrote in my blog today.

Well see you people around,
Tanner

More Updates on My Life

Well, weeks have gone by with out a word from me. I have finally crawled out from out of my rock to start posting some more facts of my life. I hope you enjoy it.

Two weeks ago I began going to our Ward Choir. I have been enjoying it emensly. To quote my father "Ther's nothing better than singing a hymn on a Sunday afternoon." Brother Pothier is the director of our choir. He is great. I have been singing base. The singing is one of the rare things that always brings the spirit to me.

On Friday, I baby sat for one of my home teaching families. The kids were great and I actually had a lot of fun. They really like me and behaved very well. It also gave the parents a chance to go out on a date. They were greatly appreciative and I was glad to give them the opportunity to get out of the house.

On Thursday, our team had a swim meet. One of the other schools didn't have a JV team, so for me it was mostly just our school against our school. I swam breast stroke for the first time this season in our medly relay. We placed first in this. I then swam the 50 free and took second, only 3 seconds behind the same kid on our team that beat me last time. I swam it in a 30 flat.
I swam the 100 free next and once again took second. I felt like I did good. Our team also did a 400 free relay. We dominated this because we were the only guy team swiming. It was a good meet.

Now, as of today, the video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released. Finally! After three delays this game is out. I have been waiting since November to get this game. I preordered it yesterday and should get it some time this week. Now I just need to get an internet hook up so I can play the Coontz clan. I assume you guys are getting this game right?

Bye for now,
Tanner
